Tali Dratshang is located at 10 minutes drive from Gelephu Town. Lam Therchung is credited with the institution of the Dratshang in 1971. Statues of Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, Buddha and Guru Rinpoche adorn the Lhakang.
The Dratshang serves as a place of worship for locals and is the winter residence for the monastic body of Sarpang Dzong. Every year the Dratshang observes a festival consisting of various masked dances and cultural dances. Thousands of locals come to witness the festival and enjoy with their families and friends.
