Gasa

Located in northwest Bhutan, Gasa is bordered by China to the north and it is inhabited by roughly three thousand people. Surrounded by over a hundred pristine glacial, lakes and mountains range are some of the last great wildernesses left in Bhutan that can be explored through some of the most scenic treks such as Jomolhari Laya Gasa trek, Snowman Trek, Merak Sakteng trek etc. The district is also well known for its healing hot spring.
