Gelephu

Gelephu is a beautiful town located on the Indo-Bhutan border to the south of Bhutan. A domestic airport in the town offers a quick access to Paro and Trashigang Dzongkhang. It is also a doorway to the Royal Manas National Park, the oldest and fourth largest Park in Bhutan.

Getting to Gelephu

Travelers can fly to Gelephu from Paro international airport or also drive to Gelephu from Thimphu and the travelers can also travel to Gelephu from Jaigoan.

Weather

Gelephu experiences warm and sub-tropical climatic condition with humid air which remains almost same throughout the year. In summers the temperature exceeds 30 degrees Celsius and in winters it drops to a more favorable weather with 10 to 18 degrees Celsius.
